These markets are situated at the Old Petrie Town and not only offer interesting stalls but also heaps of atmosphere. I will just highlight a few of our personal favourites.
We could spend hours browsing through the second hand book stores. Another favourite is the shop selling country style decorations. Can’t forget to mention how much we enjoyed meeting the resident artist – what a talent she has for painting horses!
We marvelled at the woodwork being produced by a retiree. You also have the opportunity to pick up some fresh food and vegies before you go home.
A firm favourite amongst many regulars is the food hall. We’ve heard praises being sung about the waffles and can’t complain about the Thai cuisine we sampled.
