In 2010 this annual event ran for the 83rd time and we were there to share in all the action. The show ran over three days. There are plenty of the usual favourites like wood chopping, various displays, side show alley and animals.
Each day also had a specific program. On Friday the highlights included Rodeo, Girls-Girls-Girls trick riders, junior dirt bikes, mini trotters, Nissan Toyota show jump challenge as well as the spectacular Jet Van.
9am on Saturday saw various horse events taking place in the main ring. The Grand Parade kicked off at 2.30pm. The Ute judging also took place and the utes were definitely a delight to behold. We attended the Rodeo on Saturday night and were mighty impressed by the skills of all the cowboys and girls.
Fireworks lit up the sky on both Friday and Saturday night. The Jet Van also put on a performance on both nights. The friendliness of the stall holders made this show a really memorable one for us.
